Looking up

I have never felt compelled to buy any newspaper that uses the entire front page for one headline.

Taking the first step toward cleaning my car today, I moved all the garbage from the back seat into the front seat.  Eventually I’ll remember to bring a trash bag downstairs to clean up the crime scene in one fell swoop.  First I’ll need at least two daylight viewings of the havoc.  Not to mention the smell I get to look forward to tomorrow morning.  Unfortunately for me these external stimuli are essential to make it a memorable learning moment.

I also cleaned more of the apartment today, chanting “This is my rubbish chute.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.”

I’m watching the Carrie Diaries and am completely enamored with it. Yeah, I said it.  I’ll even hyperlink it too. There. Go judge my ABC Family style drama based off a show I barely care about.

I mean, I like Sex & the City okay.  I also thought it was called Sex In the City until my sister got me to watch it in 2004.  Well written and consistently good, I just never connected to any of the characters all that much.  Of course, I’m not really a girl so hindsight is crystal on that.  In a world where the characters are teenagers I see glimpses of human nature that I can relate to.  A time when every decision you make is huge and emotions can swallow you whole.  Makes me feel nostalgic and excited for my future.

Oh yeah, and I discovered a new way to massage my big toes the helps the center of my foot relax.  It’s been a glorious day.
