I’m cray-cray in so many ways
There are terms and categories
Medicines and therapies
But what if we’re wrong
The thin line of brilliance
A tautly drawn tight rope
Drawn between madness
And the impossible dream
Will anyone choose to see
Look up from the doldrums
See beyond the Spanish Moss
Brightness comes from the sky
All the planets – Mars, Jupiter –
Only reflect light. Sun and stars
Light the universe.
If you aren’t shiny
I won’t see you.
Whatever that’s worth.
All this light
you’d suppose
Deflecting glares
Radiation safety.
I’d wear lead if
It came in chain mail.
Falling for a uniform
Dancing like I fuck
Part of the music itself
Inside me, find serenity
Forever in peace.
All men.
